ADTP- Assisted Deploy Tourniquet Pouch

ADTP (Assisted Deploy Tourniquet Pouch) is a one hand operation tourniquet pouch. Access the tourniquet and pull away from the pouch, the ADTP will deploy the tourniquet strap to the *pre-staged "full open" condition and is immediately ready to be slid over the limb, over bulky clothing or any obstructions. Having the tourniquet deployed to "full open" can be beneficial for solo tourniquet application to an incapacitated arm, hand or leg.
 
ADTP removes one crucial step from deploying your tourniquet for use, there's no longer the need to use both hands to access and unfold the staged tourniquet . This one step could be costly when seconds matter and even more so when only one hand is functional due to severe injury.
 
There are many different ways to stage a tourniquet all having pros and cons that are directly related to pouch design and placement. Understanding this we designed ADTP to also function as a normal TQ pouch. Even if you decide not to use the ADTP  “deploy” function and you’d rather stage your tourniquet in a way more familiar to your training , ADTP as a normal TQ pouch will still provide you better access and functionality than most pouches on the market. Being able to protect , mount and access your tourniquet  from any position on your belt make this one of the most versatile tourniquet pouches on the market.
